It's "Make Art Monday!" So let's get busy and make some GREAT art!

Change a blend mode, play with a filter ..... anything goes as "ART"

But most of all,have fun!
My submission consists of two photos I took in northern Nevada. There two tanks are used as "head tanks" supplying water for the ranchers in the valley. One of the tanks seems to be an old boiler pressure vessel. The other is an old rail tender car. Mountain stream water fills the tanks situated in the foothills above the valley.
I think it's pretty ingenious. Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 used.

I agree. Those ranchers are pretty smart.

The new issue of one of my photography magazines arrived this week; the entire issue was devoted to Black and White. Naturally, I was inspired to work on this. I always have difficulty visualizing what shades of gray various colors will take on. But, this time of the year in Wisconsin that's not an issue. Everything except the pretty blue sky was already B&W when I went out.

I used Topaz B&W Effects for the conversions and processing.

Chas i always love your HDR images. I would love to create the same look but never seem to get all the way there. But i also do not have 3 photos to work with only one. But i always enjoy you photos.
Rusty i love the black and whites and the treatment you used on them. I am really drawn to DSC 0185.
Love your b&w submission,Rusty.
Judy, you can do a credible one-photo faux HDR by using Topaz Adjust.

Love both of your results. Had a little time to do my technique and get it posted.
