Thanks Courtney and Judy. Certainly would be one ugly fish!!!

Our planet Earth is made up of land masses and water. So......for a very vital part of earth, splash.

Tennie, you have two good ones ... I'm saying three 'cause I think the one you are not counting is just wonderful.

Here's my first:

That duck is flying pretty fast, Rusty - neat shot!

Fire: This is an alligator who likes to eat burning logs. :D

Think I tried a fast shutter speed for this one.
Both photos were taken in front of our wood-burning stove.

Mary
Looks like the duck is roasting in the fire. :bigwink:
Love that idea, Rusty!

Mary, great fire...especially the fire eating alligator!
oooh, I really like the fire shots, especially the second one.

Winter is finally losing its grip here in SE Wisconsin. We have been seeing robins in our yard for a week now. And Spring vegetation is making its appearance:

Thanks, Tennie and Rusty - it was fun experimenting with different settings.
Wind: It's a windy day on Lake Washington today and waves are crashing over bulkheads.

Mary
wow are you guys on a roll. What fantastic photos. I enjoyed seeing everyone of them.
Mary, I had thought about using waves also, but really like the way you got them 'crashing'. The flowering pear is beautiful.

We were at the beach yesterday. Beautiful sunshiny day but windy. There is always salt spray making the distant part of the beach look 'foggy'. But the salt was really thick so I'm using the following for 'mineral'.

HappySnappy,

Your second fire shot is something I could see hanging on my wall as the eye catcher for the room. Something to sit and stare at. Thanks for posting it
