Happy start of Summer!

1. anything with the letter 'G'

2. as many 'choices' for the month as one wishes

3. triangles (and/or glass) --from Judy

4. End of ___ (end of school, end of the day, end of a good thing, etc. ) -- from Courtney

5. Purple and yellow, in same picture -- from Courtney

6. Up and/or Down -- from Rusty

7. Abstract -- from Mary

8. Passage of time -- from Betty

Let's try a different approach for the list this month.
If members, who wish to participate, would pm me ONE (or more) subjects/words, I will include them in the list as soon as I can.
I'll try to check the pm's morning & evening for the next week or so. (I will contribute at least 1 subject/word myself to add to the list).
Hopefully, we will be able to continue this more interactive format in the future.
btw - anyone/everyone is invited to add to the list, even if they do wish to post photos in the thread. (Judy, Chas, & everyone else.)

keep on shootin'

Nice subjects so far; I like your idea of suggestions for additions.

This interactive format produced some great subjects! Good idea, Betty!

Rusty, I like your iris. They are my favorite flower - might try to get the inside of one for purple and yellow.

End of....: This is the end of a song, Viva L'Amour. Story: We were on the ferry crossing Kootenay
Lake In British Columbia a few days ago and so was a men's chorus from Vancouver, BC. They treated the passengers to a song! On the left the leader threw up her arms to indicate the end of the song.

Mary, Terrific capture! Looks as if you had a wonderful time.

Rusty, your yard must be beautiful right now.

This month's list is now complete. Thanks to Judy, Courtney, Rusty & Mary for their contributions. There were extra subjects provided, which will be used in upcoming months. :)

btw: If anyone wishes to alternate months or take over the Monthly Photos thread, please let me know.

Thanks for the comments, Betty.

Passage of time: There has been some passage of time since this building was last used! :) It's on some old homestead property in Wauconda, WA.

Mary
Mary, those are both excellent catches.

Lots of glass triangles used in the construction of beehive shaped domes at the Mitchell Park Conservatory:

Thanks, Rusty.

I really like your glass triangles with the cool reflections in them!

Mary
Actually, those aren't reflections. That's stuff growing inside.

There are three domes at this Milwaukee County Park. One is tropical, one arid and one temperate.

I see, Rusty. Do you ever get good plant shots inside the domes?

Purple and yellow: We recently had "Prospector Days" in downtown Republic. This is the backdrop to one of the carnival rides. The Mardi Gras theme doesn't quite fit the prospector theme, but, of course, the kids could care less.

Mary
I was processing this photo for Make Art Monday, but when I was naming it I decided it was a good one to use for "end of." Kids are graduating from high school and late on this afternoon there were quite a few of them hanging out on the bridge in their formal dresses and suits. They must have been all dolled up for graduation celebrations.
