It's "Make Art Monday!" Charlie is off visiting family and asked me to pinch hit for him today. So let's get busy and make some GREAT art!

Change a blend mode, play with a filter ..... anything goes as "ART"

But most of all,have some fun. Get out of your comfort area and try something new!

A historical marker told me that there were about forty beer gardens in Milwaukee in the late 19th century ... each brewery had one. By WWI only ten were left and Prohibition killed those off in 1919. Not just a place to drink, there was something for the whole family: food, music, activity areas and, of course, beer. The Milwaukee County Park System resurrected one last summer along the banks of the Milwaukee River.

My effort here involved a number of layers to compensate for a high contrast situation:

Interesting background on beer gardens, Rusty, and well done with the art.

Caught this youngun making faces and attempted to make silly art of it. Not so sure I even like it.
