It's "Make Art Monday!" So let's get busy and make some GREAT art!

Change a blend mode, play with a filter ..... anything goes as "ART"

But most of all,have fun!
Thanks to Rusty for filling in for me. The Pacific Northwest is a fantastic place to photograph.
This Monday's submission is of a hydrangea blossom. Iris blur filter used.

What a beautiful treatment of the hydrangea.

You said you were going off to visit your daughter ... I suspect the truth is that you wanted to escape the weather in Vegas.

Beautiful, Chas! Maybe you'll share more of your NW photos.

Just playing around with 2 photos I took. The fungi on a tree seemed to make a perfect basin to hold the water and ducks.

Chas what a beautiful hydrangea blossom.
Tennie what a great idea and you executed it perfectly. Looks fantastic.
You folks won't believe this.....the heat followed us to Washington. I was in the low 90's for a few days.
It was 53 degrees when we flew out of Bellingham. Yesterday we had isolated thunder storms and flash flood warnings. So I guess the "wet" weather followed us home. More photos of our trip to come. Just love the ducks,Tennie.

My delphiniums are thriving, overtaking the utility meter box. I like the contrast between the hard, rusty, man-made structure and the lovely natural plants. By the way, that electric blue-purple is the true color of the flowers; I did not enhance it in post-processing.
