Went for a walk today and was surprised to find insects. Almost missed them. The first is for 'insect'.

I went to the Wisconsin State Fair yesterday expecting to find some photo ops. I was not disappointed.

I initially thought to use this for Fashion; decided on a more appropriate subject after taking another look at the tiara:

The miniature donkeys were kept two to a stall 'cause they get lonesome otherwise. Whenever a kid came close one would move over close enough for a small hand to reach in and scratch ears:

Tennie oh how i would love to be on that cruise ship. I have never went on a cruise but it sure looks like it would be fun.
Rusty i love the young lady with the tiara she is not missing a beat with that phone is she. And i love the donkey story.

Beer Donuts? I like my beer, but in a donut? I don't know about that.

Rusty, great photo of the Wisconsin contestant (queen, princess..?) on the phone. Sharp, good colors and contrast, and good expression and action, if you can call using the phone action. In the donkey shot, the from-above view of the donkey in the foreground had me wondering what I was looking at. It took me a minute to figure it out.

Tennie, I really like your spider picture. The lighting and background are so neat.

My August photo choice----have tried long to get a decent bird in flight, still need more practice and a longer lens, but this is my best so far.

Courtney, I'm with you ... beer donuts don't appeal to me either. I gathered from the description it must be sorta like a jelly donut except being filled with beer rather than fruit. I did NOT try one.

I don't know who the cutie was, maybe Miss Wisconsin? I also saw Alice in Dairyland but didn't get a photo.
