Chas, your oil painting treatment looks good, giving your photo a nice 3D depth.

There was a professional bike race a couple weeks ago in Alberta. The finish line of the final stage was in downtown Calgary. This racer had just finished the race. I Topazed the background and added a vignette.

Great stop action. You panned just right to catch the wheels spinning.
Where are all the other contributors this week?

Courtney, can you share what you used in Topaz on the background? The image is great with the rider in total focus and the onlookers blurred.

This underbelly of a spider is kind of crazy but isn't Hallowwen-time a crazy time of year anyway? Topaz Simplify painting was used.

Mary
Fun art this week.
I hope to be back next week...haven't had much time on the computer and just starting to get back out shooting.
Chas, thanks. :)

Mary,

I like your wild spider art. For my photo I used topaz Adjust filter "smooth and flat" on the background. The background was already out of focus in the original shot, but the filter helped the bike rider stand out even more.
