It's "Make Art Monday!" So let's get busy and make some GREAT art!

Change a blend mode, play with a filter ..... anything goes as "ART"

But most of all,have fun.
This Monday's submission is a photo of a lighthouse that I worked over a bit. I changed the day scene to a dusk scene with Topaz Adjust and added a light beam.

Nice lighthouse.

Here's an idea I had with a rather flat looking image:

I did most of this playing around with blend modes:

Chas and Rusty, very nice art! Thanks so much for sharing how you did it.

I'm able to get out a bit finally, even though for shorter periods. Feels great to be shooting again!!! Saturday was 'Public Lands Day' at the Fla. state parks. Animals and reptiles were brought out for education (and photo ops). Lots of Topaz on this one.

Chas i love your results from day to dusk and i love the lighthouse.
Rusty your idea really gave your photo lots of life. Looks great.
Tennie glad to see you shooting a little. Do not do to much to soon. What a cool snap shot and i love your treatment.
Tennie, both the photo itself and the treatment are very captivating! Good to have you back, also.

Mary

This was fun & easy. Thought others might want to try the technique ( shared by Nigel French, designer)

a blend of 2 filter gallery filters; cutout & note paper either on separate layers to blend, or on the same layer. Then tweak with levels or other adjustments.

The colors might be a little funky because I'm using an old laptop (needs calibrating) & using PSE 5!
