Last month's photos were just great - robots, super duper popcorn, apples for cider, honey & brown sugar, an outdoor adventure, & more ! All the contributions were well done - as usual

'Group' from last month's list: (just to get us started this month)
The temps continue to be too warm. Groups of birds visit bowls of water. Some just drink, & some jump in for a dip & then drink.




Simplify & a painting filter were used.

Like your bird shots, BJ, especially good catch on the 'jump'.

Seems I'm starting out in order...but only coincidentally.
Entry way...this is the way into a new Florida State Park, Silver Springs. It used to be privately owned, then state owned but privately run. As of Oct. 1, 2013, it is officially a state park.


While at the park we saw many fish and fowl. This cormorant was swimming near the dock.

Betty, thanks for the interesting subjects. I have no idea where to start, but that's part of the fun of this thread - you never know what's going to show up. Love your bird photos. The first one looks like the 2 birds are talking and would be a good subject for a clever caption (Birds & Blooms mag has these).

Group - from last month's list: Had to do another group shot of the apples, this time ready for pressing. Must say the cider is mighty good.

Golden Rain Tree....spectacular in Fall. Many in our neighborhood and this was shot from the car on our way home.

Winter has this with bare branches, Spring the green appears and continues through Summer. But in Fall golden yellow spires sprout until it truly earns the name 'Golden Rain Tree', Then the yellow turns to bright red/pink before becoming rusty brown and prepares for winter.

Surreal

Took a ride on the glass bottom boat, shot this at the glass. The reflections have an eerie, surreal look.
