Mary i will have to go look that up i have never heard of them.
Mary, I like your glassware photo!

So far I have red & orange together, and one I'll use for choice.

This is a Lego jack-o-lantern, created by Chris of course.

This is a double-paned window that unfortunately has a leak so it fogs up sometimes. I liked the way the fog and window frame surrounded the view of our elm tree, looking lovely in yellow but raining down leaves to beat the band. It is bare now. The leaves have been mulched and put in the composter.

Fantastic October photos Mary, Tennie, Rusty & Courtney.

I'm not sure what the striped clothing represents. These workers were helping with resurfacing a county road. I noticed that Denton County was stamped on the trouser legs.

'Stripes' from an earlier month's list.

(Restyle was used. I think it is one of Topaz's best.)

Around here it's prisoners working.

Such good photos coming in this month. I still have glassware and from a previous list. Maybe soon!
Tennie, prisoner clothing was my thought too, but I'm not sure. The 3 seem to be teenagers.

These pests (No. American cicada) are finally disappearing for the year. The reason I think of them as sort of 'surreal' is the way they look & the length of time they survive underground -- 13 to 17 years. Also, how can something so small make so much racket?

Courtney, that's certainly not your run-of-the-mill jack o'lantern - very cute.
Betty, very nice shots - the insect definitely looks other-worldly.

fowl: Here's one of the many wild turkeys running all over the place up here.

Fascinating photos this month. My guess for those striped pants is community service for the bad boys.
red/orange: A happy red pepper in amongst the orange-looking yellow peppers. The person in produce pointed out the pepper's "smile" and I had to take a photo of it.

beautiful, happy peppers, Mary

Judy, I bet you are right. They didn't seem to be doing much - not working like an adult would be required to do.
