My golden rain tree has yellow flowers in the fall, followed by large seed pods. It's always great to see what looks like spring flowers in the fall.

Spotted the spider, which was casually approaching the mantis for a period of time & I wondered if he was going to wake up before it was too late. Finally, he came to a complete halt & put it into reverse & backed down the wall rapidly.

I had to wait for the last day of the month to get this.
Would you believe, we had a grand total of ONE visitor for trick or treat (the little girl you see in the far background). I guess DW and I will be headed for chocolate overdose.

That's a nice shot, Rusty! Did you carve the pumpkins yourself? We got very few trick-or-treaters this year also. Think churches and rec centers are trying to have more Halloween parties for kids, at least around here.

Rusty what a wonderful shot. I love the pumpkin glow. Rusty you out did me. I never get any trick or treaters. When i first moved here i was expecting a regular slew of trick or treaters. I soon realized this area just does not get any. I think because the area is to small they go for the larger areas for more goodies.
