Oh, Judy, you'd have to hurry because it closes down in a couple of months after 23 years. It's been a real attraction and brought many people to the downtown Palm Springs area.

That's a very good job on "lights at night"

I must confess that the flying dove and wings-up dove are the same bird. I was shooting in burst mode and added the dove in flight from the first frame to the second.
Gotta be sneaky sometimes :D

Thanks, Rusty and Judy.

Rusty, that's very clever to add the flying dove. Yes, we all do things like that when we think of it and know how!

Subject from another month - work of art: Got caught in the Borrego Springs desert with this giant sea serpent. A landowner commissioned many, many steel sculptures which are positioned all over Borrego Springs.

That looks like Nessie to me. Really cool.

One of the things Milwaukee has going for it is Lake Michigan. For some years now the city has used the slogan, "A great place on a Great Lake." About 10 years ago the art museum scraped together enough money to pay Santiago Calatrava to design a big addition to the rather ordinary looking museum. They sure got something that wasn't ordinary looking.

Since then the city has attempted to frequently incorporate that as an iconic image representative of Milwaukee.

Thanks, Rusty.

Wow - that's some art museum! As mentioned before, one of the big attractions to this forum for me is to see and become familiar with other parts of the country first hand.

Will try to find something worthy of 'choice' prior to EOM and, of course, I am still searching for an
ugly truck :D

Rusty, very cute sign! Also like the Fast Food collage featuring Five Guys and Frozen Custard. I, too, am looking for more ugly trucks - hope to go out to a remote desert area this week and maybe find some....

Representative of Area: A cactus is representative of the desert, right? This is a cholla, I believe.
