You click on Create Output, then select DVD (top left). The PDF seems to look the same, bit is pretty low resolution so I can't be sure.

John: She can also "burn" a C/D as well just click on "Auto CD" this will put "presenter" on so that you can run it on your computer.

BTW there are 2 programs Proshow Gold & Proshow Producer. I use Proshow Gold 3.5 the latest on is 4.0

George,

Yes, I know about the "Big Gun" of Proshow. They used to offer a really cheap upgrade to Producer if you had been using Gold for a couple of years - looks like that has been done away with.

In any event PSGold produces amazing quality shows and does it at light speed compared to the basic Elements version. I first tried the Elements version and the results were junk - wouldn't show them to anyone.

Now with PSGold, the results are as good as any I have seen.

Edit,

George.

Checked out your link - very interesting. I have bookmarked it as a keeper and will probably sign up later. Thanks for the tip.

Edit (2),

Ah, they still offer the cheap upgrade - after two years of using PSG, you get to upgrade to Producer for $99.00 - 7 months to go! :chickendance:
John
:rotfl: John: I have a few months left to up -grade !!!

Not sure if I can handle that program Producer....!!!!

I have a few shows on that web sight...Under PSG................."Rocks" Nov 18th 2008.
"Nature" Nov 26 2008
"Snow Days" Jan 1 2009

You don't have to sign up to see the shows ,,,just click on the show.

They do require you to sigh up only if you want to comment...

They are a friendly bunch,,and help a lot just like this "Forum" :cheer2:

George:

Not yet - my 2 year cycle comes up this September.

I meant to repost here - I checked out your PSG shows - lovely stuff and areally interesting site.

Now as to whether or not to upgrade - probably in September as I really like the stuff you can do with the PSG version - I did one last week to be shown on a HD TV for a volunteer thing I do, teamed it up wioth processing and cropping from Lightroom to the 16/9 aspect ratio, then popped the images into the PSG added a sound track or two and instant gratification.

For those of you who havent looked into this, PSG produces an executable version in about 1 minute for just about any size show and produces a 6 minute "show" with menu and sound tracks in about 10 minutes on DVD. The resulting show is top quality and I have used it for producing a number of slide shows that I use at our local camera club for show and tell.

Thank you for responding !!!

I checked with Photodex and "MY" 2 yr stint ends Oct /09. I think I will download their "trial" version first to see if I can handle it

I'm sure its a lot harder that "Gold" but it does give one more "choices".However the price is right $99.00.usfunds.....by then my luck will be that the canadian dollar will be back like it was when it was 40% :spew:

BTW thanks for looking at my shows and hope to see you on that forum someday. :thanks:

George,

Thanks for the update. I got my "invite" in September, downloaded the trial and played, but ran out of time. I seem to recall having to pay duty when I got the first box delivered also.

At least the $CDN is back up there to minimize the ouch factor.

John

I bought my version when the Can dollar was at 96cents ....so guess I won out in that case.

Have a good day
